Recipe Preparation

Preparation Time: 5 minutes; Cooking Time: 25 minutes
Feeds four to five


  1. Mix sugar, butter until the sugar dissolves
  2. Next add in eggs 1 By 1 until well incoporated
  3. Mix in sifted flour into the mixture in batches.
  4. Make sure to get rid of any clumps
  5. Add melted chocolate to the mixture (Double Boiler or Microwave 10 seconds on mid-high), and mix until everything is well combined.
  6. Pour into a buttered and floured cake tin with baking paper
  7. Bake in the oven at 170°C for 25 – 30 minutes and leave to cool.
After cooling it down,cut into bite size pieces and serve.

I paired it with peppermint icecream and ola-la it was so good!
The minty flavor helps to cut the heaviness of the chocolate flavor.
You can also try it with coconut whipped cream :D 

Side Notes

Please use High Quality Chocolate 

For a more cripsy texture
  • Reduce flour content and increase butter and sugar 
If you leave it in the fridge overnight, it gets denser and fudgier.
